By submitting a request for a Dark Web Scan through this website, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”).

1. Service Description

WJP Technology Consultants LLC (“WJP Tech”) provides a complimentary Dark Web Scan service designed to identify potential exposure of email addresses, domains, usernames, and other publicly available information that may have appeared in known data breaches, threat intelligence sources, or Dark Web repositories.

The scan is intended solely as an informational cybersecurity awareness tool and does not constitute a comprehensive cybersecurity assessment, security audit, vulnerability assessment, penetration test, compliance review, or risk assessment. [wjptech.com]

2. Authorization to Request Scan

By submitting a scan request, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the owner of the submitted email address, domain, or organization; or
  • You are authorized to act on behalf of the organization associated with the submitted information.

You expressly authorize WJP Tech to perform a one-time Dark Web exposure assessment using commercially available, publicly available, and authorized threat intelligence resources.

Any unauthorized submission of a third party’s information is prohibited and may result in refusal of service.

3. No Intrusive Testing

The Dark Web Scan is a passive information-gathering process and does not involve direct interaction with your systems, network, applications, users, or infrastructure.

The service does not include:

  • Network scanning
  • Vulnerability scanning
  • Penetration testing
  • Exploitation attempts
  • Email account access
  • User account access
  • System access
  • Security auditing
  • Security monitoring

No changes are made to your systems, devices, cloud platforms, or services as part of this scan.

4. No Guarantee of Findings

The Dark Web Scan is provided for informational purposes only.

While WJP Tech uses reputable sources and commercially available intelligence platforms, WJP Tech does not guarantee:

  • The completeness of findings;
  • That all compromised accounts or exposures will be discovered;
  • The accuracy of all reported information;
  • The timeliness of breach information;
  • Future detection of additional exposures; or
  • That an absence of findings indicates an absence of cybersecurity risk.

5. Third-Party Data Sources

Dark Web Scan findings may be derived from third-party breach databases, cybersecurity intelligence providers, public records, security research sources, and other authorized information repositories.

WJP Tech does not independently verify every data source and makes no representations regarding the completeness, availability, reliability, or accuracy of information supplied by third parties.

6. Report Usage and Professional Disclaimer

Any results, reports, recommendations, observations, or findings are provided solely for informational and educational purposes.

The Dark Web Scan report:

  • Is not legal advice;
  • Is not compliance advice;
  • Is not insurance advice;
  • Is not regulatory advice;
  • Is not cybersecurity certification;
  • Is not a guarantee of security.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WJP Technology Consultants LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • Your misuse of the service;
  • Unauthorized submission of information;
  • Violation of these Terms;
  • Claims related to your authority to request the scan.
